Building my Gi Joe Collectible site
Bought my site gijoecollectible.com on March 5, 2008. Let it sit until about March 17, 2008. Built 3 or four sites on old domains that got a little traffic already and niches I had an interest in. Kept an eye on the forums more and more as I saw no results to speak of except traffic was building daily. Got my first sale on March 25,2008 and ended March with 5 sales and $4.85 in commissions. April has generated 17 sales so far for $63.70 in commissions with one whopper at $44.41. I also got a $6.37 Performance Incentive which was awarded in March. Traffic and CTR since March 5th , 2008 are: 34sales 1 ACRU 2456 Impressions (doesn't include EBay RSS) 1342 Click Throughs. Commission Balance shows $87.12 without the ACRU. To date my site had paid for itself as no traffic was purchased to generate sales. Happy with the results so far as now I know that all that is needed is to SEO my sites to bring in much more traffic and income. |
